Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir Police on 14th May 2015 presented charge sheet of case Fir No. 35 of 2010 U/S 420, 468, 471, 201, 120-B RPC before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar.
“The instant case was registered on the directions passed by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar vide its orders dated 28.10.2010 with regard to the complaint presented by Rafiq Ahmad Joo (Advocate). The complaint revealed that one Ghulam Nabi Lone S/o Ghulam Mohammad Lone R/o Androosa Pampore has been cheated by Mohammad Shafi Sofi S/o Ali Mohd Soi R/o Basant Bagh Srinagar , Mohammad Akbar Lone S/o Abdul Ahad Lone R/o Maratgam Handwara and Abdul Razaq Bhat S/o Mohammad Kamal R/o Maratgam Handwara for providing of employment to his children and brother namely Reyaz Ahmad Lone, Nusrat and fayaz Ahmad Lone in social welfare department and J&K High court thereby deceitfully cheated him for an amount of about Rs. 06.75 lacs by providing fake and fictitious appointment orders and fake identity cards,” a police statement said Saturday afternoon.
