SRINAGAR: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the Class 12 board examinations scheduled from March 16 to April 10, 2026, for students in CBSE-affiliated schools across several Middle Eastern countries.
In a circular, the Board said the decision was made after assessing the feasibility of holding exams and considering requests from schools and local authorities in the affected areas.
The cancellation affects CBSE schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Examinations that were earlier postponed through circulars issued between March 1 and March 9, 2026, are also now cancelled for students in these countries.
CBSE added that the procedure for declaring results for Class 12 students in the affected regions will be announced separately.
