Srinagar resumed normalcy after three days of strike though parts in south Kashmir remained tense after an encounter. North Kashmir reported also normal life.

On Sunday passenger and private vehicles plied in the city after three days. Kashmir remained closed for three days as separatists sponsored strikes in commemoration of Maqbool Bhat and Afzal Guru, who were hanged in Tihar in 1984 and 2013.

Though the traffic was thin, there was activity in most of the city. After three days shops and flea markets were back to business. A pleasant weather helped people move out. Most of the day remained sunny.

Weathermen, in the meanwhile said that weather will remain dry for next consequent two days.  From Monday weather will remain dry for 48 hours. After Tuesday there is the least chance of light shower of rain and snowfall in the other parts of the valley.

Temperature is improving in the valley up to five degrees from last 4 days.
