SRINAGAR: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has announced its winter vacation schedule for faculty and students, following the approval of the competent authority. According to a notification issued by the Dean of Academic Affairs, the university will observe winter vacation from December 23, 2024, to February 7, 2025.
The last working day for all academic programmes is December 20, 2024, and classes will resume on February 10, 2025.
Departments planning to continue teaching, learning, or other academic activities during the winter break, whether partially or fully, must submit their proposals in advance to the Dean of Academic Affairs for approval.
However, the university’s administrative offices will remain operational throughout the vacation period, ensuring uninterrupted administrative functions.
The notification has been circulated to all Deans, Heads of Departments, and other concerned authorities, including the Controller of Examination and the Registrar’s Office, for necessary action and dissemination of information.
