SRINAGAR: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reconstituted the Screening and Apex Level Selection Committees responsible for selecting the JK Government Awards, which are conferred on Republic Day.
This development was announced through Government Order which supersedes all previous orders on the matter. The committees are tasked with identifying and finalising individuals and organisations for these awards, which recognise excellence and significant contributions across various fields.
The reconstitution reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the selection process while ensuring diverse representation in the panels.
