SRINAGAR: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of deputation tenures for two Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per an order, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for continuation of deputation tenure of Shri Raja Yaqoob Farooq, IRS (IT:2014), to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for a period up to 10.11.2025.”
In a separate order, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for continuation of deputation tenure of Shri Bashir Ahmad Bhat, IRS (IT:2014), to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for a period up to 07.04.2026.” (JKNS)
