SRINAGAR: Leader of Opposition and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sunil Sharma on Sunday continued his visit to the border areas to assess the damage caused by Pakistan shelling.
Sharma assured the affected families that a concrete and sustainable solution would be worked out in consultation with the government to reduce future risks.
“Visited the border village of #Narsingpura, #Pargwal and heard the concerns of the locals regarding the challenges faced during Pakistan’s shelling. Assured them of finding a concrete and sustainable solution in consultation with the government to mitigate future risks,” Sharma wrote on a social networking site.
The border areas have witnessed significant damage due to Pakistan shelling, with several lives lost. (KNO)
