Several Jammu Areas to Face Power Cuts on May 18

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several areas of Jammu on May 18 due to maintenance and upgradation works.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, power supply to Dedpeth, Ikhala, Dacchan, Pochal, Cherhar, Dool, Gulabgarh, Artholi and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 12 noon.

Hatli, Dukht, Khanyra, Maroli, Mehtabpur, Jagatpur, Keerian Gandyal, Industry Kerrian and nearby areas will face a shutdown from 6 am to 12 noon.

Basohli, PHE, Dewal, Tandi, Bani, Bhander, Sewa, Mashka, Duggan, Dhagger and adjoining areas will remain without power from 7 am to 1 pm.

Power supply to Shant Nagar, Dhok Paloura, Patoli Chowk, PHE, EWS Colony, Roop Nagar, parts of Muthi and nearby localities will remain affected from 8 am to 10 am.

Pathi, Dairy Farm, Devik and Jakhani will witness a power shutdown on both May 18 and 19 from 8 am to 12 noon.

Battal Ballian and Airforce areas will face power cuts from 6 am to 10 am on May 18.

Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, O&M Circle Kathua has informed that Rajbagh, Jasrota, Channi and Amala will face a power shutdown from 7:30 am to 11 am on May 18.

Jakh and adjoining areas will also remain affected from 6 am to 1 pm the same day.
