SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer of two IAS officers from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the ministry, Rakesh Minhas, a 2016-batch IAS officer, and Faz Lul Haseeb, a 2018-batch IAS officer, have been transferred to the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Minhas was serving as Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat in Jammu and Kashmir. He has previously held key administrative positions, including Deputy Commissioner of Jammu and Kathua.
Haseeb has also served in several important administrative capacities in Jammu and Kashmir, including as Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Deputy Commissioner.
The transfers have been approved by the competent authority and will remain in force until further orders, the ministry’s order stated.
