Social Networking Sites especially facebook are abuzz with posts relating to alleged leak and selling of Common Entrance Test (CET) papers by former BOPEE Chairman with the help of his associates. Scores of students and parents are expressing anguish and concern and appealing to the State Government to take the matter seriously and take all the accused to task.
Former Director Horticulture, Sarwar Naqash writes that, “If the report of Crime Department about BOPEE is to be believed, then the heads of concerned should bow in shame. Do we or the authorities at helm of affairs have any reply for those candidates who burnt their midnight oil while studying hard to pass the Entrance? I am not able to reply my daughter on this shameful act of BOPEE, whom I found forgetting her 02 year’’s old baby and family while burning her midnight oil.”
One of the users Ali Muhammad Naqash while replying to former Director Horticulture equips that, “it is because of this fraud my daughter with 81 per cent in 12th figured nowhere in CET during that period and Interestingly qualified MAT and CMAT with 81 and 80 percent respectively in all India competition.”
Most of the users are of the view that persons involved in the scam should be given stern punishment and all those students who have qualified CET should be expelled. Some users are blaming government for all the mess and say that why it took so long for the government to act against the Mushtaq Peer. “Remember, it was on the directions of Honourable High Court that Crime Branch had left with no alternative but to act. Government’s role is negligible in acting against the imposters,” one of the students Rehan has posted on his facebook wall.
Netizens in general are hurling and posting choicest abuses to former BOPEE Chairman and term his as the slayer of student community.
“Police should check the data and find out how many students who had appeared in CET examination that year have committed suicide. Mushtaq Peer should be booked for all those deaths,” another user writes.
One more user writes that Mushtaq Peer seem to be so innocent. “Go and check his video on Youtube and you will find how high Peer is talking about honesty and integrity. Shame on him. He deserves lashing,” writes a facebook user Muhammad Abbas
