The house in which militants are believed to be trapped in Chadoora has been razed to the ground by using improvised explosive devices (IED) almost eight hours after encounter started.
Eyewitnesses said that after firing a number of shells forces tied IED’s to the house and it was razed to the ground.
“Loud bangs struck around the surrounding areas and the bricks of the house could be seen flying in the air,” Kashmir Life photo chief, Bilal Bhadur who is at the site, informed.
However, the firing is still going on.
Meanwhile, two civilians have already died in clashes near the encounter site, while dozens have received injuries.
