Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (PC) chief Sajjad Lone Tuesday strongly condemned the killing of two youth in Army firing in Budgam district yesterday and demanded a thorough and time bound probe into the incident.

In a statement Sajjad Lone said, “It is unfortunate that two innocent boys have been killed in Army firing in Chattergam. Government without wasting any further time should order a time bound and transparent probe into the incident.”

He urged the Defence Minister Arun Jatiely to personally look into the matter and ensure that guilty are punished at the earliest. “It is high time that government of India takes a bold decision in such incidents and punish the culprits which can restore the confidence of people of the state,” Lone said.

Expressing heartfelt condolences with the families of the slain youth, the PC chief said, “I am shocked over the killing of two innocent youth and my heart goes out to parents of the slain youth.
