SRINAGAR: Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) Wednesday raided fourteen locations in South and central Kashmir districts and conducted searches regarding a case of Jammat offshoot School already registered in Srinagar.

Quoting reliable sources news agency KDC reported that In Srinagar search was conducted in the residential house of a retired teacher namely Assadullah Bhat son of Abdul Samad resident of Bijbehara A/P House no 7 Usmania Colony Bagi-Mehtab and recovered one mobile Phone, three passbooks and some revenue documents from his house.

In Chandgam Pulwama raid was conducted in the residential house of retired Naib Tehsildar Abdul Rashid Shah Son of Abdul Ganie.

Similarly, raids were conducted in the residential houses of Abdul Rehman Mir (Patwari) son of Mohammad Abdullah, a resident of Hadigam Anantnag, Bilal Ahmad Dar (teacher) son of Bashir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Dangipora Sirhama Anantnag, Mohammad Shaban Dar (farmer) Son of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Marhama Sangam.

If sources are to be believed the raids were part of a case already registered at CIK police station in Srinagar and raids were conducted to members of a Jammat offshoot school namely Jamiat -us-Salihat.

The raids were going on at many other places when the report was being filed.
