A complete shutdown was observed in Shopian district of south Kashmir for the 10th consecutive day on Saturday to mourn the civilian killings.

Reports from the area said all shops, business establishments, government and private offices remained closed in these district while public and private transport was off the roads.

Sources said that heavy contingents of government forces were deployed at sensitive locations in the districts to maintain law and order, while the mobile Internet service in the district remained suspended for the eleventh consecutive day.
