Srinagar Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) issues the arrest warrant against Abid Ansari and directed Republic TV’s anchor Arnab Goswami to appear before the court on February 09, 2019 in connection with a criminal defamation case filed by senior PDP leader Naeem Akhtar.
Earlier Ansari was called before Court but he did not appear. Apart from this court has also directed Aditya Raj Koul, Zeenat Zeeshan Fazil, and Sukal Bhat to appear before the court on the same date.
Pertinently Naeem Akhtar had filed a complaint in the court alleging Republic Tv of broadcasting scandalous news content against him.
