Following a killing of militant during a brief shoot out, intense clashes were reported from Choudhrigam area of Litter in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Reports said that soon after the killing, a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) was launched in Choudhrigam area of Litter, after forces received the inputs of rest of the militants, Youth took to the streets and clashed with government forces, and forces reportedly fired tear gas smoke shells to disperse the protestors.
Reports also suggest that a vehicle (Tata Mobile) under registration number JK13A-1235, was set ablaze by “unknown youth”. The vehicle was allegedly used by the army to ferry their men to the site where a militant was killed.
