A youth was injured on Tuesday after clashes erupted between the people and government forces in Tral area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
Reports said that a group of youth pelted stones on vehicles of forces coming from Arigam village, the forces retaliated by using tear gas smoke shells and pellets, the clashes resulted in pellet injuries to youth.
The injured youth was soon rushed to Sub-district hospital Tral for the treatment, where he is undergoing treatment.
Earlier, a joint team of forces cordoned off the Arigam village of Tral, and search operation was launched after receiving the inputs about the presence of the militants in the area.
