Amid the fresh braid cutting incidents at Islamabad district of southern Kashmir on Saturday, intense clashes erupted in the adjoining Kulgam district.
Reports said that the latest braid-chopping incident took place in Nihama area of the district at 10 am.
The victim is mother of three children, and is under treatment at Public Health Center Nihama.
The clashes also took place in Lal Chowk area of Islamabad town against the unabated braid chopping incidents in the district.
Police lobbed several tear-gas shells to disperse the crowd, triggering clashes in the area. The clashes soon spread to other areas of the town including Achabal Adda and old town localities of Reeshi Bazar.
Also, on Friday five more braid cutting incidents were reported in Islamabad and Budgam districts of Kashmir.
