Clashes broke out between the government forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
Reports said a joint team of army’s 34 RR, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a search operation in Sheikh Mohalla of DK Pora village in Shopian district.
However, the youth took to streets soon after the CASO was launched and clashed with the forces.
The door-to-door searches were going on in the area amid clashes when this report was being filed.
