Stone pelting protesters clashed with forces at Satoora village of Tral on Saturday amid a gunfight between militants and forces in the nearby forest area, reports said.
Local sources said that forces used teargas shells to disperse protesters.
As reported earlier, two militants have been killed in the on-going gunfight at Wantwon Satoora forest area. The bodies of the slain militants are yet to be recovered.
Army’s 42 RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police are on job.
Meanwhile, reports said that helicopters and para commandos have been pressed into service to take out the rest of the militants.
