Clashes erupted between forces and youth after congregational Friday prayers in main town of Sopore in Baramulla district.
As soon as the Friday prayers culminated in historic Jamia Masjid Sopore, the youths assembled outside it and started moving towards main chowk Sopore but the forces already present on spot stopped them which resulted in clashes between forces and protestors mostly youth.
Forces used teargas shells and Stun Grenades to control the protestors.
Clashes were going on in the area when last reports came in.
