SRINAGAR: Clashes erupted in Sopore town of Baramulla district after congregational Friday prayers, reports said.
Reports said that youth took to streets after prayers ended at Jamia Masjid and staged pro-freedom protests.
The forces deployed in the area used teargas shells to disperse them, triggering clashes.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in the town against the civilian killings.
