A man was injured on Friday during clashes between the people and government forces in Tengwani area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Official sources said that clashes broke out in Tengwani Shopian after forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
During the clashes, a local youth identified as Fayaz Ahmed Padroo, 35, son of Ghulam Mohammad Padroo, sustained bullet injuries on his chest.
Padroo was soon shifted to District Hospital Shopain for the treatment and then referred to Srinagar for the further treatment.
