In an attempt to snatch rifle, unknown men on Friday attacked a Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch guard in Khrew Pampore.
Official sources said that two masked men attacked Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch Khrew guard in order to snatch his service rifle. the guard resisted, resulting in his injuries. The injured guard was later shifted to the hospital for the treatment.
Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area and manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
