The exchange of fire between suspected militants and forces has stopped in Bomai area of Sopore town where a fierce encounter is on between suspected militants and forces.
Reports said that massive clashes have erupted near the site of the encounter.
Clashes erupted near the site and surrounding areas of the village, they said.
Reports further said that after forces blasted the house where the militants are holed up, announcements were made on Masjid loudspeakers asking people not to come out their houses.
