A Class 10 student of Mehmoodpora village in Kunzar area of Tangmarg in northern part of Kashmir’s Baramulla district has gone missing from his home, reports said on Thursday.
Reports said that Showkat Ahmad, a class 10 student, left home in Turke-Batpora village on Wednesday afternoon to get a medical check-up. However, he has not returned home since then.
Meanwhile the residents of the village have taken to streets and are protesting to seek whereabouts of the boy.
The protesters blocked the Srinagar-Gulmarg road to demand the whereabouts of the missing boy. Reports said that police has registered a missing report.
