Kashmir University on Sunday decided to suspend class work in all teaching departments following the killing of five militants in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Among the five slain militants, Assitant Professor Dr Rafi has also killed an encounter.

Dr Rafi was serving Kashmir University as an Assitant professor in Department of Sociology.

The university spokesman in a statement said that the class-work at the University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on May 7/8, 2018 (Monday and Tuesday) as a precautionary measure.
