No classwork at Kashmir University on Saturday, but exams as per schedule
The Class-work at University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on Saturday (November 18, 2017), a Spokesperson of the varsity said in a statement this evening.

Hiwever, he said all examinations shall be held at per schedule.

Earlier, the Srinagar district administration ordered closure of all colleges and schools  of the district. However, the examinations will be held as per schedule.

Besides, it also ordered imposition of restrictions under section 144 in eight Srinagar police stations. The admit cards of the students appearing in different examinations will be treated as passes.

The restrictions have been imposed after a  militant was killed in a brief shootout with forces in Zakoora area of Hazratbal on the coty outskirts.

The slain was identified as Mughais Ahmasd, a resident of Parimpora.
