SRINAGAR: In a startling incident, an Islamic cleric named Ab Azi Parray, son of Mohd Ismail Parray from Parray Angan, Ompora, Budgam, was stabbed by his own followers on Tuesday evening in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, official sources said.
The attack took place at the cleric’s residence and left him with minor injuries.
An official confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident, and a thorough investigation has been initiated. (KS)
