SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has approved the appointment of 42 candidates in the Housing and Urban Development Department under the Jammu and Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, 2022.
The appointments have been made under the government’s Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, which provides compassionate appointments to eligible beneficiaries in accordance with the provisions of the policy.
According to an official statement, the move reaffirms the government’s commitment to extending compassionate support to deserving families through timely employment opportunities.

Congratulating the appointees, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes and expressed hope that they would discharge their responsibilities with dedication, sincerity and a strong sense of public service.
He also urged the newly appointed employees to work with commitment and contribute effectively towards improving public service delivery in the Housing and Urban Development Department.
