C M  (2)Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called a meeting of Unified Headquarters in Jammu in next 24 hours to assess the two militant attacks in Hiranagar and Samba.

Twelve people including police and army men have been killed in the attacks so far.

Sources said that Principal Secretary Home Suresh Kumar and Director General of Police Ashok Prasad are at the site in Samba where a fierce gunfight is going on between forces and the militants.

Chief Minister has reportedly said that he would be personally flying to Jammu in the afternoon. He said that the Unified Headquarters meeting would take place either in the evening on Thursday or in the morning on Friday.
