SRINAGAR

The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday has greeted people on the occasion of Losar, a famous festival of Ladakh region.

The spokesman said Chief Minister hoped the festival rejuvenates the age-old tradition of love, tolerance and brotherhood, among the people and brings along joy, happiness and peace.

During the occasion, Chief Minister prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Governor N. N. Vohra also conveyed his hearty greetings to the people of Ladakh.

The spokesman said Governor observed that the festival of Losar symbolizes the high traditions of love, tolerance, amity, communal harmony and brotherhood, which the people of Ladakh have cherished and nurtured over the centuries.

The Governor wished the people a Happy Losar and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
