Nocturnal protests erupted in Kashmir University campus late Tuesday evening after the news about the killngs of militants and lady in an encounter at shopian spread.
Local sources said that scores of students from different hostels marched towards the Allama Iqbal library protests against the recent killings in kashmir by forces.
They said that students raised “pro-Pakistan and pro-militant” “stop innocent killings” slogans. They later marched through the campus and dispersed peacefully.
Pertinently, two Militants, one lady identified as Ruby Jan of Batmurran Shopian were killed in an encounter with forces on Tuesday.
