Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Monday has expressed grief over the death of six persons in a road accident on Sunday evening at Chenani in Udhampur district.
Mehbooba, spokesman said has conveyed her heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
She has also sympathised with those injured in the accident and directed the Udhampur district administration to provide all support to them in their medical treatment.
She has also directed the Traffic authorities to ensure strict maintenance of traffic rules on the highway and elsewhere so that such unfortunate incidents don’t take place.
