Former CM and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah Monday took a dig at CM Mehbooba Mufti and said that she has surrendered all the authority of her office.
Omar said that CM Mehbooba should release the people who have been arrested in thousands and should withdraw their cases.
While re-tweeting a tweet wherein Ms Mehbooba was quoted as having said, “J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti meets PM @narendramodi, seeks initiation of confidence-building measures to reach out to the people of the state.”
Omar re-tweeted and commented, “How about you start releasing the many 1000s that have been arrested & withdraw cases @MehboobaMufti? That doesn’t require Delhi to act.”
In another tweet Omar said, “True to form @MehboobaMufti will look to the centre for everything because she has surrendered all the authority of her office.”
