The Chief Minister’s secretariat Thursday made it clear that there is no official account of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on social media including Twitter and Facebook.
“Some people are running fake accounts in the name of the Chief Minister on the social media and the same has been brought into the notice of the police,” an official spokesperson said. “One such account is operational on Twitter with the link https://twitter.com/CMOJK.”
Notably, former Chief Minister and National Conference working president, Omar Abdullah, recently joined Facebook. He has already crossed one million follower number on Twitter.
He said a fake account with the link https://twitter.com/jkinformation is also being operated in the name of JK Information on Twitter.
