SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed grief over the death of Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, father of Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid and MLA Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh, who passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, after a prolonged illness.
The deceased, aged 85, had been undergoing treatment prior to his demise.
The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. He also extended sympathies to the family and prayed for strength to help them bear the loss.
