SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday held meetings with legislators, officials and deputations at the Civil Secretariat here, with discussions centred on constituency-level development issues and matters of public importance.
Omar met Sonawari MLA Hilal Akbar Lone along with a delegation, which raised concerns related to development and public welfare in the constituency.
Khansahib MLA Saif-ud-Din Bhat also called on the Chief Minister and discussed several issues specific to his constituency.
The Chief Minister separately met M.K. Verma, Director of the ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (CITH), Srinagar, and Ashok Kumar, Deputy Director of the National Horticulture Board.
The officials discussed matters related to the functioning and development of the Centre with the Chief Minister.
