SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday directed the Rajouri district administration to expedite rescue efforts and ensure the best possible treatment for the injured after a road accident in the district claimed two lives and left five others critically injured.
The accident occurred on Friday evening when a passenger vehicle veered off the road in the Bdhog area of Moghla Teryath.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives, Abdullah conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
He instructed the district administration to accelerate rescue operations and ensure that all necessary medical assistance was made available to those injured in the accident.
