SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday extended warm New Year greetings to the people of the Union Territory, wishing them peace, prosperity and good health in 2026.
In his message, CM Omar expressed hope that the New Year would bring renewed optimism, harmony and opportunities for progress across the region. He urged all sections of society, particularly the youth, to contribute positively towards peace, unity and sustainable growth.
The Chief Minister also called for collective efforts to build a more inclusive and resilient Jammu and Kashmir, emphasising the importance of mutual respect and shared aspirations in achieving overall societal development.
Omar prayed for a year marked by stability, economic growth and strengthened bonds of brotherhood among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
