The office of Medical Superintendent, Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura on Saturday organized a CME programme on “Materials and Inventory Management” under the chairmanship of Professor Farooq Ahmad Jan Medical Superintendent SKIMS.
“The programme was first of its kind in SKIMS since its inception and was attended by various dignitaries including President of India Institute of Materials Management (IMM) New Delhi V K Jan,” an official statement said.
“The participants among many included staff of Material Management Department SKIMS Hospital Administrators, section head of various services and officers from Finance.All of them were made aware regarding various aspects of materials management,” the statement said.
The programme was inaugurated by Director SKIMS and ex official secretary to Government Prof Omar Javid Shah. The highlights of the programme included various lecture sessions and panel discussion which were presided by SKIMS faculty.
“At the end vote of thanks were given by Dr Shahnawaz senior resident of hospital administration,” an official statement said.
