Right wing Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Member Parliament Tarun Vijay has said that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s “humane” gesture of participating in the Puja at Hindu shrine Kheer Bhawani has sent “right signals to the peace loving fellow patriotic Indians nationwide”.
He has said that many BJP National Executive Members were highly “appreciative of it”.
“It thanked Mehbooba for braving the separatists and snubbing them by visiting the temple and offering milk in the holy tank,” he has said.
“This also proves that PDP-BJP alliance is working for harmony, peace and progress in the valley,” he said. (CNS)
