Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday claimed that National Conference and Congress will jointly win all the six Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir. Omar also said that Rahul Gandhi will be the next Prime Minister of India.

He was addressing Congress and National Conference workers in Jammu after the coalition candidate for Jammu-Poonch constituency Madan Lal Sharma filed his nomination papers.

“We were eagerly waiting for the moment when Congress will announce its candidate for other two seats,” Abdullah said.

“We had already started joint campaign in favour of Sharma in Rajouri, Poonch and I am sure that the alliance partners will win all the six seats,”the Chief Minister said adding “We will win all the seats for UPAs kitty to form the government at Centre with Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister.”

Taking a dig at BJP Omar said,” there is no Modi wave in Jammu and Kashmir.”

“Even in previous parliamentary elections, BJP started propaganda against UPA but despite that Congress emerged victorious and big names of BJP lost the elections,” he said.

Earlier, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Jammu-Poonch constituency also filed his nomination papers.

The election for the said seat will be conducted on April 10.
