Cold wave conditions continued in the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region on Sunday as minimum temperatures remained below the freezing point.
Kargil in Ladakh was the coldest place in the state where minimum temperature was minus 9.5 degrees followed by Leh minus 6.5 degrees.
The minimum temperature was 0.7 in Srinagar, while it was minus 2.0 and minus1.2 in Pahalgam and Gulmarg, respectively.
Jammu city recorded 9.7, Katra 10.3, Batote 7.5, Banihal 4.4 and 3.4 in Bhaderwah.
The Met department has forecast cold, dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir till Thursday.
