SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned the Collector, JK Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA), the additional charge of handling land-related matters of all projects being executed by the Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED).
According to Government Order No. 178-JK(HUD) of 2026, issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department on August 24, the Collector, JK LCMA, along with subordinate staff, will handle the land matters of all UEED projects in addition to his existing duties.
The arrangement will remain in force until further orders, the order said.
