Colleges in Kashmir valley would open on Wednesday after the government ordered the suspension of class work for next two days, due to student protests across Kashmir.

Teaching work in all Collages of Kashmir division shall remain suspended on April 20 and 21, 2017, as a precautionary measure, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, stated.

The decision came after colleges across Kashmir remained shut for last three days.

Student protests erupted across the valley on Monday. The protests were held against the police raid in Pulwama College on weekend, that resulted in clashes inside premises and more than fifty students were injured.
