J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi has lashed out at state govt for the shortage of essentials in the entire valley. He also blamed the Govt for making the Aadhar mandatory for the consumers to get the ration, while as 50 percent population are without Aadhaar Cards.

Accusing the government of failing to ensure essentials to people, Congress Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi said government is making tall claims with regard to availability of essentials, while as, there is an acute shortage of the essentials one the ground.

He said one fails to understand why government is releasing false statements on this count without seeking report from the administration below it seems there is a wide gap between the administration and civil secretariat.

He said government has taken the decision to make the Aadhaar card mandatory for the consumers to get the ration etc, but I want to ask the government has it ensured issuance of cards to everyone in the valley, not only fifty percent population of the valley are without Aadhaar Cards, how come it is possible for them to link their rations cards with Aadhaar number, the fact remains, government has miserably failed to provide Aadhaar Cards to people, which is not only unfortunate, but highly condemnable and questionable.
