SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Sunday expressed serious concern over the assault on Kashmir Shawl hawkers in Ranchi Jharkhand and urged the LG administration to take up the matter with the concerned Govt.

JKPCC also demanded stern action against the culprits, urging the State Govts across India to ensure the safety of Kashmir people earning a livelihood in different states.

JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad and other Senior Party leaders have termed the assault on Kashmir Shawl hawkers in Ranchi Jharkhand as a matter of serious concern and said such unruly actions were bound to create fear psychosis amongst the Kashmir people working in different states, which has to be addressed by ensuring their safety.

Mir said it was the responsibility of all the state Govts in the Country to deal with such disruptive elements, who bring bad name to their respective State by attacking and assaulting people.

JKPCC President condemned the assault on Kashmir people in Ranchi and emphasized the LG administration to take up the matter with the concerned for punishment to the culprits.

I would also emphasize LG Manoj Sinha to personally look into the matter and ensure safety of Kashmiri businessmen in other states, Mir added.
