A delegation of senior Congress leaders met the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and discussed prevailing situation in the state and submitted a memorandum.
According to the reports received by a local news agency, KNS, the memorandum read that Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee express deep concern over the unabated firing by the Pakistan side causing great hardships and sufferings to the people residing near LoC and International Border in the state. This continued firing during the past few days has intensified resulting into human suffering and loss of properties besides the farmers are unable to undertake farming activities and have to take shelter in safer areas for the safety of their lives.
