The spokesman further said that the government was engaged in anti-people policies and was leaving no stone unturned to shamelessly suppress the voices of Kashmiris demanding freedom.

The spokesman said on one hand the genuine leadership of Kashmir is being caged in homes while on the other the government has kept the entire population of South Kashmir hostage on gunpoint by imposing round the clock curfew. He said government was pursuing the politics of revenge against Kashmiris.

The spokesman said the continuous curfew in Shopian and Pulwama is a worst example of state terrorism. He said the people have been caged while at the same they are being denied access to daily basic amenities like milk, vegetables, and other necessaties of daily living.

Spokesman said the administration’s revengeful policies against the Shopian people protesting the state terrorism would bear dire consequences.

The Spokesman further condemned the use of pepper gas and destruction of property in Saraf Kadal, Ali Kadal, Mahraj Gunj, Jama Lata and Nowhatta by Armed forces. These tacts, the spokesman said will not deter the people from taking the present movement to its logical conclusion.
